A Day to Remember

Your wedding day is made up of so much more than the big moments. It is the anticipation while getting ready, the nervous smiles before the ceremony, the people you love gathered in one place, the laughter, the tears and the celebrations that carry on long into the night.

My photography is about capturing your day, preserving your memories and documenting every moment as it naturally unfolds. From the smallest details to the moments you may not have seen yourself, I create a complete and honest record of your wedding for you to relive for years to come.

With over 16 years of wedding photography experience, I work calmly, professionally and unobtrusively throughout the day. I know when to step in and guide you, and when to stand back and allow the real moments to happen.

Your Wedding, Your Way

No two weddings are the same, which is why every quotation is tailored around your plans rather than built around a fixed package. You may only need coverage of your ceremony and portraits, or you may want the full story documented from preparations through to the final dance of the evening.

Coverage can begin with either partner, both partners or simply at the ceremony. It can continue through your portraits, reception, speeches and evening celebrations for as long as your day requires. Whether your wedding finishes after the first dance or continues until the early hours, I will build coverage around what matters to you.

I photograph weddings throughout London and the UK, as well as destination weddings in Cyprus, Greece, the Greek Islands, Austria and further afield.

Preparations

Preparations are often some of the most personal and emotional moments of a wedding day. If you choose to include this part of the day, I will document the atmosphere as it unfolds: the excitement, the nerves, the laughter and the people helping you get ready.

I photograph the thoughtful details you have chosen, from outfits, shoes, jewellery, veils, cufflinks and watches to rings, bouquets, stationery, perfume or aftershave. I also capture hair and make-up, final touches, gift or letter exchanges, family reactions, drinks with friends and the moments before you leave for the ceremony.

Coverage is entirely flexible. I can photograph one partner's preparations, both partners' preparations or neither, depending on what feels right for your day and your timings.

The Ceremony

The ceremony is the heart of your wedding day. I photograph it with a natural, documentary approach, working respectfully within the church's or venue's guidelines while remaining ready for every important moment.

From guests arriving before the ceremony begins, to the anticipation at the aisle, your entrance, readings, vows, ring exchange, first kiss, signing of the register or certificate and the walk back down the aisle, every part of the story is documented.

Just as importantly, I look for the reactions around you: a parent wiping away a tear, a smile between friends, the excitement of your wedding party and all the small, fleeting moments that make the ceremony uniquely yours. If confetti and congratulations follow, I will be there to capture those too.

Family Portraits

Family photographs are an important part of the day, but they should not take over it. Before your wedding, I will help you prepare a sensible list of group combinations so that everything is organised and nothing important is missed.

On the day, I will guide everyone clearly and efficiently, keeping the process relaxed and moving quickly so your family and friends can get back to enjoying the celebrations. The result is a collection of timeless photographs with the people who matter most.

Couple Portraits

Your portraits are an opportunity to pause together and take in the day. I recommend allowing at least 15 to 20 minutes, but there is no rigid formula; the time is shaped around your schedule, your locations and how much photography you would like.

My approach is natural with gentle guidance. You do not need to know how to pose or feel confident in front of the camera, trust me. I will make things feel relaxed, give you simple direction when needed and create photographs that feel like you rather than overly staged images.

Where the schedule and locations allow, we can divide portraits into shorter sessions: perhaps after the ceremony, between the ceremony and reception, at a nearby location, or later in the day during golden hour. I always recommend taking advantage of that beautiful evening light when it suits the venue and the flow of your day.

The Reception

Whenever possible, I arrive at the reception before guests enter the room to photograph it exactly as it has been prepared. This preserves all the personal details that you have spent time choosing: the room styling, flowers, table settings, centrepieces, stationery, favours, seating plan, cake, place cards, guest book and every finishing touch.

During the drinks reception, I capture a mixture of natural interactions and relaxed photographs with guests. I will also make time for any additional family or friend photographs you would like.

During the meal, I focus on the moments you will genuinely want to remember rather than photographing guests while they are eating. I will photograph tables before the meal begins where possible, and continue documenting the room as you make your way around to greet and toast family and friends.

Speeches are captured from beginning to end, including the speakers, the reactions around the room and all the laughter and emotion in between.

Evening Celebrations

As the formal part of the day gives way to the party, I continue documenting the energy, emotion and atmosphere of your celebration. From the cake cutting, first dance and parent dances to live music, DJs, traditional dancing, surprise performances, sparklers, fireworks and a full dance floor, I do not miss a moment.

If it is part of your wedding day, it is part of your story. Whether your celebration is intimate or continues into the early hours, I will capture the moments that show what the day truly felt like.

If your coverage is booked until the first dance, I normally stay for around 15 to 20 minutes afterwards to photograph the dance floor coming to life. Full-day coverage usually continues until around 11pm, with extended coverage available until midnight, 1am or later where needed.

Your Photographs

Every image is personally edited by me with the same care that goes into photographing your day. Your final collection is delivered through a private online gallery and a high-speed cloud link, making it easy to view, download and share your photographs with family and friends.

You will receive high-resolution images with no watermarks, ready to print, share and enjoy. The number of photographs naturally depends on the length of coverage, the scale of the day and what unfolds, but a typical full day, from both preparations through to around 11pm, usually receives approximately 1,000 to 1,300 edited images.

I bring professional backup camera bodies, lenses, flashes and memory cards to every wedding, am fully insured and dress smartly to blend naturally into your day. When I am photographing at a venue for the first time, I will also visit in advance where possible so I can plan the best locations for your portraits.

When your wedding day is over, your next chapter has only just begun. Your photographs will hold the memories of every smile, every tear, every embrace and every unforgettable moment, ready to be revisited for years and generations to come.
